World Languages Day welcomes participation by high school groups from all over Wisconsin. Since its beginning in 2002, 100 different schools have attended World Languages Day.

Love Languages Profiles, a project of the Language Institute, with support from WAFLT, showcases the joys and outcomes of language learning through personal histories of UW-Madison students and alumni of diverse backgrounds, languages and interests. Learn more>

UW-Madison Russian Flagship Program

The Russian Flagship Center at UW-Madison offer students the opportunity to reach professional-level competence in Russian. It is supported by the National Security Education Program in the Department of Defense.
