World Languages Day at the University of Wisconsin - Madison

World Cinema Day is a high school outreach program of the University of Wisconsin - Madison Language Institute and Wisconsin Film Festival, a public program of the Arts Institute.

More About Our Sponsors

The UW-Madison’s Language Institute is an initiative of the College of Letters and Science, with substantial support from the Division of International Studies. Drawing on the wealth of these departments, centers and programs, the Language Institute fosters and promotes collaboration for research, education and community outreach efforts in languages, literatures and cultures.

UW-Madison’s Arts Institute works to make the arts more visible and effective at UW-Madison. Governed by arts faculty and staff, the Arts Institute represents the collective voice and strength of the arts at the University. The Arts Institute funds and supports projects with university- and community-wide impact, including outreach programs such as the Wisconsin Film Festival.
