World Cinema Day 2008 Discussion Guide Now Available!
We are pleased to announce that the discussion guide for Fermat's Room is now available! Click here to download it. Designed as a teacher's guide, the discussion guide offers pre- and post-viewing activities relevant to world languages, English, film studies, social studies and mathematics classes.
The discussion guide was written by Robin Worth, Katarzhna Beilin, Margaret Meyer, Wendy Johnson, Ken Ono, Dianna Murphy, and Sally Magnan. We would like to thank everyone involved in this inter-departmental effort!

General information
World Cinema Day promotes the understanding of world cultures by bringing quality international cinema to Wisconsin high school students and teachers.
Free admission and educational materials are available to registered high schools. This program is ideal for Social Studies, Language Arts, World History, Global Studies, Cinema, Media Literacy and World Languages classes.
The educational component of World Cinema Day includes print materials developed to supplement viewing of the film and made available to teachers, and a UW-Madison faculty led pre- and post-screening discussions.
